Angela always had an interest in photography. She pursued a different course in college, graduating with a B.S. in Biology from George Mason University in 1996. Boredom and curiosity, and a little travel, have combined to create an eclectic collection of work. She prefers film, but thinks digital is just fine, too. She is from Powhatan, Virginia.

Angela currently writes for the Smithsonian Studio Arts blog, the Examiner, and periodically for DCist.
