My photo of The Flood Zone was selected for 12 12 Gallery’s Richmond Juried Photography Exhibition which opens with a reception on Sunday, February 26.
The Flood Zone, now called something else, was an old tobacco warehouse on 18th Street in Shockoe Bottom where I saw bands like Social Distortion, GWAR, Reverend Horton Heat, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Jimmy Cliff, Dave Matthews Band and others in the early to mid ’90s.
